March is Brain Injury Awareness Month. At The Nasia Foundation, we are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of youth, young adults, and caregivers affected by Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Our mission is to provide support, resources, and funding to assist families in their journey towards recovery and rehabilitation. With a focus on raising awareness and promoting education, we strive to empower individuals and their loved ones to navigate the challenges of TBI. Join us in our efforts to create a brighter future for those impacted by brain injury. Together, we can make a lasting impact.

Our Journey

Empathy in action:
TBI support

Our mission is to provide a support system for disabled youth, young adults, caregivers whose lives have become affected by Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and we do this by reducing the stigma and equipping families to lead secure lives with greater levels of functionality. We look towards improving mental health and way of living for EVERY disabled youth, young adult and caregiver that has been affected directly or indirectly by TBI.

There were approximately 223,135 TBI-related hospitalizations in 2019  and 64,362 TBI-related deaths in 2020.

This represents more than 611 TBI-related hospitalizations and 176 TBI-related deaths per day.
